Young Voices of Colorado is a premier children's choir in the South Denver Metro area. Do you have a child aged 3-18 who loves to sing? Did you know that we have a world-class children's choir practically in our back yard? Young Voices of Colorado teaches children how to make music, not just turn it on! Children who go through the YVC program learn vocal technique and music theory through age-appropriate activities. They learn outstanding children’s choir literature as they progress through each level.
YVC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which operates under the direction of Jena Dickey, Chrys Harris, Margie Camp, Tyson Repke and others. The award-winning ensembles perform 3 annual concerts at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts at D.U., host an international festival - Sing A Mile High, and travel internationally. More information about YVC and how to join can be found at www.youngvoices.org. These kids will knock your socks off!
The Advanced Performing Choirs are for children in 6th-12th grade.
The cost of the program is $1200 which includes the Sing a Mile High Choral Festival.
The Pre-Choir Level singers have a small recital after the 12 weeks. The Training Choirs and the Advanced Performing Choirs
have two major concerts per year, one in December and one in May at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts.
Included in the tuition for the Training and Advanced Choirs are regular rehearsals, music, camps, awards, performances and
concerts. Other expenses are uniforms, tickets for concerts for family members, tour and staying on campus at the Sing A Mile
High Festival. We also offer needs based tuition assistance.
Go to our website: www.youngvoices.org to learn more or to sign up for an audition.
